About Scoot-A-Long
Following our success in 2004 by becoming the World Record holder for distance travelled in a Mobility scooter, (that was 3,412 miles around the coast), we are intending to try and place a firmer grip on that title by surpassing that effort and of course raising money and the awareness of disabilities in all ages.
The scooter and wheelchair will be supplied and maintained by Horizon Mobility and driven by disabled people, some being ex-service personnel.
Registered Charity Status
Scoot-A-Long has now been given full registered charity status, as such we can begin to work towards obtaining real funding so that we may achieve our aims.If you'd like to support our valuable and important work, please use our Contact page.
